Our Medical team consists of a number of Doctors and Nurses. The Team is headed up by, Healthy Company Director, Dr Tim Stevenson. Here is our team!

About Tim:

Tim grew up in Northern Ireland and qualified in 1984 in Dublin as a doctor. He was a GP for many years in Shoreham, and then ventured into the world of Sports Medicine and Occupational Health in 1997. He has had a varied career being the Brighton and Hove Albion team Doctor for 17 years,  the under 18's England Football team doctor, and worked as the Brighton Marathon Medical Director for its first three years .


Tim opened Business Health Resources in 1999, now based at Manor Farm House in Southwick, and the Healthy Company also based at Manor Farm House, Southwick.

Tim's vision has always been a holistic approach to medicine to promote the individual's wellbeing. Tim's passion is sailing and has competed in several competitions including Cowes week, Round the Island and the Royal Escape race. He is married to Jackie and has 3 children .




Practice Manager: Louise Trotter (Nurse)

About Louise

Louise grew up in West Sussex and, from a young age, knew she wanted to become a Nurse. She enjoys the outdoor life and has a love for animals. She has travelled extensively and worked as a Nurse along the way. This has given her a wealth of life experience which enables her to have a better understanding of the difficulties people encounter when trying to improve their health.

Education & Experience

Louise qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1996. She has gained a vast amount of experience in various areas of nursing from working in general hospitals in the UK to carrying out volunteer work in remote areas of Australia. She qualified as a Children's Nurse in 2002 and has worked in both adult and children Operating Theatres as well as in acute settings within the hospital environment. For the last 7 years she has worked as a Practice Nurse and has gained experience in Chronic Disease Management, Women's Health and Travel Health to name but a few. She is a fully qualified Diabetic Nurse and has a broad amount of experience and knowledge on disease prevention and health promotion.

Professional Beliefs

Louise believes that the core to good nursing is treating each person as a unique individual and taking the time to listen. ‘All too often patients are made to feel like they are not important and in order to achieve optimal health we must help people feel supported. ‘

About Tim

Tim grew up in Sussex and has lived locally for nearly 20 years. Tim's interests have always been sports , and football in particular. After completing Medical School in London , Tim did most of his General Practice training and other jobs in Brighton. Tim  has been a GP in Southwick for over 10 years and is currently one of the Club Doctors for Brighton and Hove Albion FC .
